The Hualapai (pronounced Wall-a-pie) Mountains are not too far from our house in Kingman. It is nice to have a retreat in the desert that will take the temperature down several degrees. I am looking forward to enjoying them with my children in the summer when they are out of school. It is a BIG change for us to be able to play outside more because it is so much cooler in Kingman. This is one of the peaks on the mountain range. It was right out our cabin door.
